Here’s another of my early weddings, photographed during the Toronto protests of the G20 summit. It’s an interesting feeling photographing a wedding while wondering if your car is going to be in one piece when the night is over!
A second marriage for both, Karen and Michael planned a low key, intimate wedding at Club Ultra (which is now Cube) in downtown Toronto. We started the day with some family photos in their backyard, and then the rest of the festivities, from ceremony to dancing were held at the club. After the bouncers barred the giant red doors shut (medieval style; actual bar required!) we headed up to the rooftop patio for some more photos with a great view of the city. Then it was time to party! With two live bands, it was a great night for everybody – and thankfully no damage was done outside!
